Окнами (gaps) в техническом анализе называют разрывы на графиках гистограмм и японских свечей, причиной которых является несовпадение цены открытия с ценой закрытия предыдущей единицы торгового времени (например, между двумя торговыми днями). Различают простые окна, окна прорыва, окна быстрого развития, или измерительные и окна истощения. Принято считать, что любые окна обязательно закрываются («затягиваются») в результате разворота графика цены после образования окна. Однако время закрытия окна для разных видов окон может быть существенно разным.
Простые окна (Common gaps). Простые окна возникают на относительно спокойных или трудно ликвидируемых рынках и являются, как правило, недолговечными, т.е. действительно могут быстро закрываться. Воникновение простого окна при росте цены является сигналом buy, при падении цены – сигналом sell. Примеры простых окон приведены на рис. 4.44, 4.45. Как видно из этих рисунков, большинство окон на них после их образования действительно закрылись, причем время закрытия доходит до 12 часов.
Окна прорыва (Breakaway gaps). Окна прорыва возникают обычно после прорыва графиком цены фигуры продолжения тренда. Таким образом, они указывают наиболее вероятное направление дальнейшего движения рынка, подтверждая наличие определенного потенциала движения рынка. Примеры окон прорыва приведены на рис. 4.46, 4.47.
Окна быстрого развития (Runaway gaps). Окна быстрого развития, называемые также измерительными окнами (Measurement gaps), возникают на быстро развивающихся трендах, часто на середине тренда. Этот вид окон дает возможность определить минимальный возможный уровень дальнейшего подъема или падения цены валюты, который приблизительно равен росту или падению цены в промежутке между началом тренда или окончанием предыдущего окна и началом данного окна. Примеры таких окон приведены на рис.4.48 – 4.50.
Окна истощения(Exhaustion gaps.). Окна истощения могут возникать после фигур разворота тренда, когда тренд резко меняет свое направление. Такие окна указывают направление дальнейшего движения рынка и свидетельствуют о внезапных изменениях соотношения между спросом и предложением данной валюты. При относительно медленных разворотах тренда окна истощения могут иметь место слева и справа от фигуры разворота, образуя на графике цены остров истощения (Reversal Island).
